It's the Michael Jordan/ NBA game. Everyone wants to "be like Mike". MJ and the growth of ISO basketball was the best thing and worst thing to happen to basketball.

That is what made the 17-18 Cajuns fun to watch until the injuries at the end is the year. Unselfish basketball.

Just like Butler, Gonzaga, Liberty, etc, Wofford is yet another PRIVATE college. They play in a building named after a famous alum and benefactor, Jerry Richardson. Money isn't an issue.

The program has been his baby for 17 years as HC. He's had other offers and turned them down, nor has leveraged. Straight money obviously isn't his motivation. They are a PRIVATE university with more than one BILLIONAIRE alum. Retirement package quickly comes to mind as a motivator.

The same tired crap RP is getting known for...any post about about anything is grounds to trash Marlin. I'm not happy either, but he's not getting fired as long as Broadhead is safe.

I read that which is admirable but frustrating, but i guess similar situation with tony. You would still think if they had money he would be compensated better than $165k a year..it wasn’t about trashing marlin...if they were stacked with cash they would pay the man

They just built an arena a few years ago. If I were a betting man, whatever cutting edge training/sports med wise the Panthers have, Wofford has either the same or Carolina's yearly hand me downs.

The game has changed again. ISO is not nearly a part of the game like it was 20 years ago. The game is about ball and player movement now and creating space for the perimeter shot and lanes to drive. Now, some people obviously do it better than others and some teams obviously have more talent to get it done than others but the game has evolved again into a movement and transition game.

I'm still trying to figure how fair and due criticism of a coach with a lack of postseason results is "trashing" him and brings its own criticism from some here but I see many guys openly criticizing players on the baseball team and there is no correction from the gallery as to why they shouldn't do it.

We all know why they don’t. Everyone from Babineaux to the bench as been savaged. Miss the conference tournament again, things might change.

I’ve been at baseball games where fans slam players openly. Waiting for a mom to have enough.
