The problem with that logic (Cantrelle’s struggles aside at the time) was Lochridge had more errors at 3b then Cantrelle did at SS. Lochridge was not a viable option. I could better understand calling for Kasuls shifting over as he had experience at the position if you were to make any move.

Did you say give him a shot? Or did you say there’s a better SS on the bench?? Cantrelle through his early struggles has still been on base every game this year!!!!!!!

I just posted what i posted earlier, verbatim ...never said he was better.

And someone asked why he was still in the lineup...my response was his on base percentage was way higher than his batting average

Lochridge only grew up playing SS.

So did Kasuls and Dupuy. Kasuls started at SS for us many games his freshman and sophomore year. Not hating on Loch but he made a lot of errors at an easier position this season.

A lot of guys come here as SS and don’t play SS for us.

Loch made too many errors at 3B which is why Windham went back in. That is true.

At the time this conversation was going on here, lockridge had 4 errors and was batting 225 with the most doubles on the team. Cantrelle had 6 errors and was batting 125.

Windham, went in because lockridge had the flu and earned back the position with an immediate hot bat to go with his gold glove. That is true.
