Giving dupuy 1 start midweek and letting Cantrelle watch for a minute wouldn’t have been the end of the world. In fact majority of the time it helps a guy who is struggling to take a step back and observe.

Dupuy was knocking the snot out of the ball while Kasuls was out and he was great running the bases too! He should be starting SS and Cantrelle should move over to 3rd base.

    Sarcasm...I don't think so either.

T, with ALL due respect, you were nowhere when he was sporting a 125 batting average, 6 errors and was on a 1 for 16 hitting streak. It’s easy now to be all over the board.

So everyone on the team can get a night off except Cantrelle? Ok...nothing wrong with a night off...Especially when you crushing .125, booting balls and the teams at large bid was gone the first week in March.

Cantrell, Breaux and possibly Kasuls are the only position players who would start for Tulane. We actually have an everyday DH who has not hit a HR. We have to recruit better hitters.
I agree we need better hitters who can perform consistently. Average teams are inconsistent. Average teams can't bunt. Our SS has gone from .150 to .300 in a week. I'm hoping he can stay at .300 and not go back to .150 in two weeks. He gets on base, though. Out DH is finally showing signs of his potential we recruited years ago.

My post was sarcasm, I think Cantrelle is the man period, that is why I was nowhere when he was struggling. The entire team was struggling and is was ugly to watch. My money is on the guy that was pretty damn good last season as a true freshman and is considered a prospect by the scouts.

No, my point to you is as long as he is hot he needs to stay in the lineup. Dupuy has some upside, but he has shown me nothing yet with the bat although it's a small sample size up to this point.

Who said anything about dupuy now? The entire lineup was struggling and being rotated except for 1...nobody is bigger than the team or the program...nobody. Not to mention wouldn’t hurt to give the only middle infield prospect currently on the team for next year some work in a clear win the tourney to get in year
