According to Robe during his presser today he will do an MRI today on his ankle. He also said we should know more today about Gavin as far as if he will have surgery. Could lose 2 left fielders in the same day for the season. Not to good

I had heard Gavin is going to redshirt.

Babs covered Gavin last Wednesday. Gavin has to decide if he wants to continue playing in limited capacity (pinch hit every now and then or pinch run every now and then) or reds shirt, have surgery and come back next year. He can no longer play in the field this year with his injury.
