Cantrelle had been hitting the ball hard right at people for a couple weeks. He was due to bust loose.

Someone riddle me this: If Kolin Hatfield had 4 home runs in one game, how was the record for bases in a game tied yesterday with only 15?

Just need to get the pitching in order. We only had two innings the entire game where we didn’t walk the leadoff batter. That needs to be fixed.
I wish pitching was as contagious as hitting.

the article up on ragincajuns.com says Cantrelle had 14 bases, one shy of Hatfield's 15.

"Cantrelle finished the game with 14 total bases, one shy of Kolin Hatfield's record of 15, and five RBI."

There is a record for everything in baseball right?

    Wouldn't 4 HRs be 16 bases?

Yes, as a fan this lack of consistency is very frustratingit lets you build up hope only to keep getting let down. Mark of a not good team, imho.
That said, let’s keep getting better and take the series todayGEAUX CAJUNS

One would think so. "Tied a school record with five hits and three home runs. Was a perfect 5-for-5 against FIU with a 3.000 slugging percentage and a .833 on-base percentage.Drove in a school-record nine batters on the day and collected a new school record 15 bases in the game."

I was actually there to see it. 3-31-07. Cajuns won 19-5 to go 23-5 for the season.
