For UL basketball coach Bob Marlin, the thoughts after an early exit from the Sun Belt Conference Tournament were mostly about all that JaKeenan Gant and Marcus Stroman did — and all that was missing for the Ragin’ Cajuns, both in the latter half of the season and on Thursday.

Gant had 26 points and 12 rebounds in his apparent last game as a Cajun, and Stroman had a tourney single-game record 13 assists in his apparent last, a 70-69 second-round loss to South Alabama on Thursday night at Lakefront Arena here.
