Thread: Yvette Girouard Field Named for Architect of Lady Cajuns Softball

did we solve if the name behind plate was cenetered or not yet?

i have now seen the outfield sign, looks weirder to me than the homeplate one....even more odd that it is just below a sign saying “one team”, what better way to highlight teamwork, than highlight an individual??

So we’re going to use Jesus. I seem to recall another lesson to the adulterous women after stopping the stoning. Pretty sure he said he saw nobody accusing her go ‘AND SIN NO MORE ‘.

Is she still sinning by using ULL, Red Team, or UL Lafayette? I clearly recall her using UL before her purple and gold conversion. Last I checked LSU no longer her employer, at least as a softball coach.

An individual that treated us terribly after she left. By the way, the "Red Team" run ruled Troy again today.

    Here is the deal:

Yvette probably does not read this forum so if you want to express your hate for her, have at it! She won't know or care one way or another. Personally, I choose not to hold resentments for almost 20 years. I don't think anyone here would even give a rats ___ about softball if not for Yvette. She started something out of nothing and it became something great. She left to take care of her retirement. Did she make some mistakes along the way.. yes. I wonder how some of you would have reacted if you had worked for Dr. A for like 20 years. She literally had to build the softball field, with the help of her family. Does she deserve the recognition she is getting now, yes. So whether we like it or not, she is finally getting her due.
