2019 Spring Football Roster

A couple interesting things about this years Spring Roster:

Obviously we all knew about the two bigger name losses in Keenan Barnes and Dion Ray. But I noticed a number of guys who are no longer on the team and wondered what the word was on these guys, if anyone has any information:

Staten Wade--Thought he was on the two deep last year on the OL, interesting that he is no longer with the team.

Tommy Whitted--Showed some promise, but I know had some injuries.

Jordan Wright--I know he was buried on the depth chart, but had played since he was a freshman and now gone as a Senior, that is odd.

Carlos Robinson--He was a 3 star recruit out of HS and another guy who may have been buried on the roster behind our TE's.

Tamir Bryant--A position we are shallow at, surprised he is gone.

Chris Turner--Had been with the program since he was a Freshman in 2015, would have been a Senior this year.

Others not listed in Spring--Caden Cunningham, Joshua Orellana and Christian Waller.

A couple of other interesting transfers that seem to be walk-ons:

QB Josh Bolfing--Played in 7 games at Kilgore College last year
K Bryce Broussard--Redshirted at Nicholls State last year
DL Trey Ockman--Played in 8 games at MVSU last year
RB TJ Wisham--US Military Academy, not sure the story on him

Also I do not see the grad transfer RB from Arizona State on the roster, he may not have made it to school yet as he might be graduating from ASU>

For whatever reason, these changes in general have not been made public, and that should chap everyone's as a on this board...

And Chris Turner graduated in the fall.

And I'm almost positive Jordan Wright also graduated in the Fall.
