Thread: Lid on the bucket prevents the Cajuns from moving on

  1. UL Basketball Lid on the bucket prevents the Cajuns from moving on

NEW ORLEANS — Whether it was JaKeenan Gant late, P.J. Hardy and Cedric Russell at the end or the Ragin’ Cajuns on the long-distance line almost all night long, UL just couldn’t get the ball to fall nearly enough Thursday.

The high price of that reality

Interesting that a play was set up specifically for Russell to take the last shot. He was 1 for 7 at that point and couldn't find the basket. He misses the final shot to go 1 for 8. Seems like Gant or Davis had more of a hot hand all game and should have taken it. Easy to second guess.

Well, if the women's game wouldn't have gone to OT and our team had more time to warm up before the game; Russell would've done better than 1-8. LOL!!!!!!
