Louisiana Opens Sun Belt Play at Little Rock

Louisiana baseball will get Sun Belt play underway this weekend, March 15-17, when it heads north to The Natural State for a three-game series with Little Rock at Gary Hogan Field. Game times are set for 6 p.m., on Friday, 2 p.m., on Saturday and 1 p.m., on Sunday.

Streaming only, and I think ya gotta pay LilRock. What's going on with our ESPN +? We used to get three for free. Now we're paying without baseball or softball, only the championships. That's beginning to look like a really bad deal. We coulda gotten the SBC to stream everything for the same. Believe me nobody is watching the plus who wouldn't watch the team or conference streaming

Don’t think the espn+ deal went to sports like baseball (for the regular season). So the decision to stream falls on the home team. Our home games are not on espn+, but we still decided to give our fans the opportunity to watch the games for free.

I understand the deal, it’s just not very good. We picked up basketball, and good lord women basketball, but not many softball,or baseball. LSU/Northwestern State was on the plus the other night.

We were on espn+ Wednesday night.

Because we were also on Cox. So there’s almost no cost for ESPN to air it. Plus they got USM another mid level conference.
