Some good that did it we can’t even set the weekend rotation with guys like Gunner, Dalton, and Austin.
Idk if they are thinking Brandon Young may be slipped back into the rotation in place of one or the two. I doubt it because he’s only had one outing...idk.

Doubt it. Gunner probably still on a pitch count. You throw those two tonight to get the Friday win. JMO.

Can’t see Robe not starting Gunner tonight!
If he makes the start tonight he sets a school record for starts over Hunter Moody and Eric Templet.

As silly as it sounds, the first 2 weeks of conference play give us a chance not to build, but just sniff any momentum. To build means you have a foundation and ours is sketchy to say the least. However, Little Rock and Appy (along with us!) are at the bottom of the standings.

Nobody is thrilled with the way this team is playing, but you have a chance to start conference play on the right foot. Don't waste the opportunity, because it get's much harder after this.

I was mentioning this to someone the other night at the Southern Miss win. Take these next two weekend series and at least split this week's midweek games to build some confidence before conference really starts to take off.

Let's say we take 2/3 this weekend, split the midweek games, and sweep against App State. That would put us at 12-12 for Tulane the following week.

Man, nothing screams mediocrity like begging for two good weekends against teams that are supposed to be sub par in the hopes that you can get to .500 at the midpoint of the season.

Unfortunately, that’s where we are at this point.
