Greed? People have been clamoring for years/ decades for a higher quality athletic / football program. Now that we've (finally) got professional leadership in the athletic department, people are complaining about costs? It 's not cheap to run that kind of program. Of course we could always go back to the Southland Conference days...
I see absolutely zero downside to this idea, opening the season in the friggin' Super Dome against an SEC opponent. I wish we could do it every year, perhaps rotating with other P5 conferences.
the link in the article to make a deposit doesn't work... classic.
No way this should have been part of a home season ticket package.
I could envision a discount one way or the other if you purchase both.
This is next years marquis game.
since still six games at cajun field i think that makes it clear it should not be part of package...
curious to know when there was only five cajun field games in 2017 was the overall season ticket price less?
Many P5 programs have 7 home games, and 8 isn’t that uncommon.
Well I’d expect half of everybody to lose their bowl game. Still G5 schools don’t beat P5 half the time.
or at least require a certain number of road wins to bowl eligible, (2?) in conjunction with the six....
requiring .500 in conf would be nice as well, but may be a bridge too far, baby steps
