Tech is notorious for that kind of stuff

Yes, but that applies only to teams competing for an at large bid.

Bottom 2 teams don’t make the tournament. The past 3 years, those two teams had 10 wins or less in conference. So basically just need to 1/3rd of our conference games to make the tournament. If that’s going to be a problem, then let’s play all freshman and sophomores so that we aren’t “young” again in 2020.

They are no longer important for RPI when you start 6-10 and are pretty much eliminated from at large contention.

Cajuns are now competing for a conference tourney bid. That is a weekend only thingy.

That is true. Also, they are playing behind, in my opinion, the best Cajun pitcher I've seen in the last 15 years. That is something to play for and something to watch.

Yesterday I spoke at length with a former Cajun pitcher who played pro ball. He said Gunner is a big league arm, has huge makeup and should waltz through minor league baseball with ease.

Think of the pitching we've had in the last 4 years.... depressing....

Going, Going, GONE, except for 5 to 7 innings on Friday.

It was the best stretch of Cajun pitching I've seen.

Shhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiddddddddd, speaking of a turn around, how about that turn around from being the #1 team in the nation in 2014 to 5 years later sweating out whether they are qualifying for the Sunbelt tournament.

I get what you are saying though, any momentum that would even stop this downward skid, not even necessarily turn things around, would be welcomed at this point. And I get what other people were talking about too with the Robe-isms after every loss. It's frustrating to listen to those excuses and linguistic gymnastics from someone who preaches accountability so much.

Here's a Robe-ism for y'all: I guess when they built Russo they got rid of the water hose and put a concession stand stocked with Powerades where it used to be.

For the record, I haven't given up yet.

We've pulled seasons out of the crapper before.
