Think of the pitching we've had in the last 4 years.... depressing....

Going, Going, GONE, except for 5 to 7 innings on Friday.

It was the best stretch of Cajun pitching I've seen.

Shhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiddddddddd, speaking of a turn around, how about that turn around from being the #1 team in the nation in 2014 to 5 years later sweating out whether they are qualifying for the Sunbelt tournament.

I get what you are saying though, any momentum that would even stop this downward skid, not even necessarily turn things around, would be welcomed at this point. And I get what other people were talking about too with the Robe-isms after every loss. It's frustrating to listen to those excuses and linguistic gymnastics from someone who preaches accountability so much.

Here's a Robe-ism for y'all: I guess when they built Russo they got rid of the water hose and put a concession stand stocked with Powerades where it used to be.

For the record, I haven't given up yet.

We've pulled seasons out of the crapper before.

We'll see. I sure hope they recover from this funk they're in. I had to abandon ship at the end of 3 last night. Leaving home at 6am and then heading to the park after makes for a long day. We'll do it again today hoping for better results.

I was at the game last night from the beginning until the end when the UNO players got on the bus (I was hanging with the cooking club at the end). And I will be there tonight to support this team.

But it still doesn't change the fact that these performances are unacceptable. What's baffling, to me, is how volatile this team is. One week, we go on a 5-game win streak and then the next week we drop 3 straight. I understand we are trying to find an identity in our bullpen, but what about next year when we lose Lahare, Veillion, Monica, Lockridge, Breaux, and Kassuls in the lineup?

This ship is taking on water, and if we don't plug that hole, we are in for a massive collapse.

We don't lose Breaux or Lockridge
