She may have an arm like a wet noodle by the post season.
What both of you say is true. If we’re hoping for a World Series birth, we need a reliable second arm.
That said, wouldn’t it be awesome if we were currently able to view even one other sport at this university in the same manner.
“Napier and Co. shouldn’t have a problem rolling through the Belt, but we’re going to need a better reliability from our LBs if we’re going to beat MS State and make a NY 6 Bowl.”
“Robe and Co. is about to dominate conference play, but we better find a more consistent #3 starter and get more production from the 7 hole in the lineup if we’re going to get past a Super Regional.”
“We’re going to need more production from our 6th and 7th man off the bench if Marlin’s going to get us to the Sweet 16.”
Not sure what you mean???
We had one consistent, reliable pitcher last season, and a roster that took a huge dent when some girls transferred out, and we still made it to the Regional championship game.
Glasco has had more time to prepare for this season, with some good transfers in like Milligan and Sarah H, so while I know getting out of the Regional is no guarantee, how could one not feel more confident about moving a step forward from last season??
