I really like this format. Chances are, you send one of your better teams to the NCAA. Secondly this rewards you according to your regular season performance top to bottom.

You really want a good shot at winning, you better play consistent ball all year and get a top 2 seed.

Format has bounced around for the past several years. We got the raw end of it last year when the 1 seed still had to play a quarterfinal.
