The win gets us a 5th seed in the SBC Tournament correct? That beats the heck out of losing and going in as a lower seed.

Of course we now begin Big Fish's favorite goal... three days in March.
But yet it’s 4 games this go around if we can be so lucky.

Marlin somehow salvaged a 6th seed and turned it into a 5th seed ... lifetime contract

Meh, I can’t get excited at the probability of a bs “first four” game.

Hate to see jack it up from three, but this team will go the way of the three, if we hit, we win the tourney.
I don't think this is necessarily true. We've won games both in conference and OOC while shooting it poorly from 3. We have been an average to below average shooting team from behind the arc all year. I think shot selection, willingness to take the ball to the rim, defense and rebounding are greater concerns at this point. Russell has been playing at a high level recently and a lot of that comes from him taking the ball to the rim and not just settling for outside jumpers. He's expanded his game and its paying off for us. Our biggest issue all year has been rebounding. We have to minimize other teams' offensive opportunities by getting second chance points off of offensive rebounds.
