I have been wondering about that for a while. When he was a freshman he stated he would only be here for 3 years, long enough to graduate. Has he changed his mind?

I called baloney when he was a freshman.

If he was competitive enough to play the"play me now because" card, as a freshman. He is to competitive to walk away from the starting role as a senior.

If he is that good he will get some playing time next year. Maybe he can play every 4th series like Levi did last year. Right now I assume you are talking about a third string QB so it is more likely he would move on than play next year.

He had 1 good game vs one of the worst pass defensive in the country lets pump the brakes need more data points before you can say he turned the corner.

Maybe one of the talented guys will be ready to go but after the year we are having you can’t really believe someone other than Levi will lead this team next year.

He's actually had a pretty decent season. His passing yards per game, efficiency, pass completion percentage, sacks taken etc are all better than your "record setting" QB from last year that you seem to think is so much better.

Levi had a great game, and I congratulate him and I'm happy for him. It was his best performance by far. He stepped it up a notch, and some of that certainly was how Napier called the game. I want to see some consistency. One game doesn't make Levi a great QB, but the process has to start with one game. Also, CCU looked pretty bad on defense, so let's see how the QB position transpires over the rest of the year.

Yeah, I forgot about Trahan because he played so much last year as a freshman, but yes, he is going to only get better.

Trahan played more in 2017 than 2018. He redshirted last season but got in a few games at the end of the year due to the four game rule.

I'm not sure he just stepped up or was asked to do more. When is the last time he was asked to throw 19 times in the first half? The things he did Thursday night were the same throws he's been making all year. I do think the coaches called a great game offensively but LL made some good reads and throws and I think he's been fairly consistent most of year in that department. He's not the best deep ball passer we've had and likely won't kill people there but we still need to incorporate some of that into our gameplan.

In the ESPN QBR, Lewis is now ranked 34, which is 6th best among Group of 5 members. I realize that these types of ratings are not fool proof, but I do think it shows that he is, overall, a much better than average Group of 5 QB, and we are lucky to have him?

Is it a certainty that he is coming back next year? If so, I believe this could be huge, because I do think he has some upside left.
