Almost all now realize he is our best option and good enough. Like I told you last week, I was worried he had plateaued and the last 4 games was what he is. I was wrong. Last night he showed he is still progressing. Can't wait to see what he can do this year and next.

Sure about that we have some mighty talented QBs on the roster

He had 1 good game vs one of the worst pass defensive in the country lets pump the brakes need more data points before you can say he turned the corner.

You are sooooo right, he has done nothing, I repeat nothing to lose the starting job. 67% completion rate, 14 TDs vs 3 INT's. He is the starter barring something really strange and should be. I feel for all of the guys behind him, hopefully they all stay and make us better, but reality is I think we will see some of our talent behind Levi leave realizing that Levi will be here for one more year as a starter.

Need a game changer at QB to have a special season

He has had more than one good game. I will say it again, difference makers do not sit the bench at UL. It is why we had a two QB system last year and a 1 QB system this year. It is why we are playing a fourth RB when the first 3 are perfectly capable of carrying the load.

  7. UL Football Levi Lewis after near-perfect game vs. Coastal: My best is still to come

UL's nationally ranked rushing attack has carried the bulk of the load for the Ragin' Cajuns this season. Thursday night's nationally televised game was prime time for quarterback Levi Lewis to shine.

With Coastal Carolina's defense crowding the line of scrimmage in hopes of slowing the Cajuns' powerful ground game, Lewis took the ball into his own hands and his lethal left arm to lead UL to a 48-7 road win.

Talent is one thing but intelligence is another. Coach rates very highly the latter and he has the lead there on all competitors.

Peter Leblanc is going to be good for a while. He is special.

O'Cyrus Torrence will start allot of games for UL on the OL in the future.

Lorenzo Mccaskall is only a Sophomore and if he can stay on the field he is really good.

Zi'yon Hill gets better and better each week, PS only a Sophomore

Kris Moncrief is Really Good, again a Sophomore

Percy Butler might be our best back end player (and PS he is a Sophomore)

Jalen Williams is starting to show how good he can be (still has another year next year)

Eric Garror is pretty good, oh yeah, just a Sophomore

Chris Smith will be a 1000 yard back at some point (Freshman)

Kam Pedescleaux is going to be a pretty good player (Freshman)

Jordan Quibodeaux is going to be a solid player for us in the future (just a Sophomore)

Kenneth Almendares can kick it through the end zone about a minimum of 50% of the time, he is a freshman.

Rhys Byrns will be an all conference punter by the end of his career, he is a Sophomore

Shane Vallot is a solid center and he was a walkon, he is currently a Sophomore

Max Mitchell might end up being the best OL on the team by his senior year (he is a Sophomore)

    Dalvin Hutchinson is good (Freshman)

Ja'Quane Nelson is really good (Sophomore)

I probably missed a ton of young players, but man this is exciting.
Don't forget Bralen Trahan, who is also a sophomore and is getting better each week.

Yeah, I forgot about Trahan because he played so much last year as a freshman, but yes, he is going to only get better.

    Butler is the man though.......

They do when they join a month before the season starts and not cleared to play until a week before

He also has 3 x the experience in the system as the others he should be ahead in that department
