You are sooooo right, he has done nothing, I repeat nothing to lose the starting job. 67% completion rate, 14 TDs vs 3 INT's. He is the starter barring something really strange and should be. I feel for all of the guys behind him, hopefully they all stay and make us better, but reality is I think we will see some of our talent behind Levi leave realizing that Levi will be here for one more year as a starter.
He has had more than one good game. I will say it again, difference makers do not sit the bench at UL. It is why we had a two QB system last year and a 1 QB system this year. It is why we are playing a fourth RB when the first 3 are perfectly capable of carrying the load.
UL's nationally ranked rushing attack has carried the bulk of the load for the Ragin' Cajuns this season. Thursday night's nationally televised game was prime time for quarterback Levi Lewis to shine.
With Coastal Carolina's defense crowding the line of scrimmage in hopes of slowing the Cajuns' powerful ground game, Lewis took the ball into his own hands and his lethal left arm to lead UL to a 48-7 road win.
