All I know is Levi made a lot of Moo State fans around me mad when he took them dancing in the second half avoiding those sacks.
You set aside the INT to start the first drive (a painful set aside) I thought Levi played well. Do I wish we had a bigger passing threat (arm, accuracy and instinct)? Yes. But Levi is game. I was surprised he didn't take some opportunities to leg some yards. I think it was a coaching edict. He had some obvious opportunities. I believe Napier a) wanted to ensure his continued availability, b) believes we have the skill players not to have needed Levi's legs, and c) MSU probably game planned for a running Levi and we chose not to feed that preparation.
I keep reading "waiting on judging Levi". I'm only judging our coaches on who plays QB. My take right now is that Levi, on balance, is more capable to start than the rest of the group. The future defenses we face are going to have their hands full with our RBs. At a minimum, that State game put some serious confidence in this program. We should pound some folks in the next few games, and judge if our staff and Levi have the intellectual gifts to feed off of the defensive adjustments that chess match adds to open QB runs and wide open WRs downfield.
You know that percentage is flipped! Just because you disagree doesn't mean I am wrong. When my son was younger, he always thought that the reason I didnt agree with him was because he didn't explain himself well enough. I wonder where he got that from?
As far as Vic is concerned, I am just amazed that he did the math correctly on that one.
