What part of his performance last year would lead you to this conclusion?

I expect Napier to mold the offense around Lewis if he is indeed the guy next season. I think he’s more than capable. Should’ve never been put in action as a true freshman. His performance last year was not bad by any means. If he improves at all, I think we are in good shape.

What part of his performance last year would lead you to this conclusion?

It was obvious that the playbook was a much more condensed version that he was working with. I do think its because of his ability to learn plays. I think it has more to do with his limited capabilities. If he was that great of a QB, he would have earned more than every 4th series.

We have limited information, but from what we have, this is not encouraging to me. As we approach the end of the spring practices, we aren't any better off than last year. Feels like we are in slow motion on filling the most vital position on the team. I'm a little impatient, I admit that, but I know what I saw last year and our team can't go far without a huge improvement at the QB spot.
