Thanks to a television news broadcast last week of someone using counterfeit $20 bills at the Abbeville Wal-Mart, the Abbeville Police Department is now searching for two suspects.
A local TV station showed pictures of two people walking into th
e Abbeville Wal-Mart that the Abbeville Police Department thought may have passed $560 of fake $20 bills.

Minutes after the broadcast, Abbeville Detective Jason Hebert began getting phone calls from other detectives from Rayne, Lafayette, New Iberia and Broussard, who recognized the two people in the broadcast.
