He should have said is; "What matters is winning, winning makes young men happy. So winning matters and what's happening now isn't winning so this matters not."

I’ll give some minor credence to half the team is sick. If they sounded as bad as Marlin’s voice and hacking cough did, cooped up in a bus to Arkansas won’t help.

The norm for our basketball program: One step forward; Two steps back.

We just got SWEPT by a team that might not even make the conference tournament. And this happened on Senior Day.

So for all you apologists who want to play victim when someone questions the fate of our basketball program, today is a prime example of why apathy exists.

No wonder we lost. Senior day is full of distractions.

Well, stepping back and looking at the big UL baseball picture, today’s players don’t react well to the world revolving around any player not named “me”. UL baseball goes as Leger goes, and we don’t have any daily player step up, nor a masher. Baseball and basketball...recruiting fails.
