Four Maryland runs in the middle innings, including a three-spot in the top of the fifth, was the deciding factor in Friday's series opener as Louisiana fell to the Terrapins, 4-2, at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.

Maryland is still a John Szefc team and the series was probably scheduled while he was still the skipper.
I'm glad Szefc left for Virginia Tech last year because I would have hated for Robe to lose consecutive Friday games to former assistants.
