Great news. Talented player. Any chance he will sprout to 6'10" or have a close friend that height that wants to be a ragin cajun?
I personally think the kid from Walker is better.
Don't think there is much chance he grows to 6'1". I think he can get to 6'3" from a short video I found. In that highlight video I saw it appears that defense is a strong point along with a decent handle. Appears to be a good athlete with a couple of one handed dunks shown in the video. His team is 26 and 8 so far this year. They are the No. 3 seed in Division IV. They won their first round game and play Vermilion Catholic in the quarterfinals. They likely win that game and move on to play in the semi finals. Note LCA is the No. 1 seed in that division and LCA is the heavy favorite to win that division. Stats for the year for him are 13 ppg, 7 rpg, 8 apg, 3 steals per game, and one block per game. Those stats indicate he is a versatile player. Only concern is that his box score numbers from when his school played tougher competition are only so so. Now this is a guy who has committed to sign with us in November and won't be in college until season after next. Lots of things can change in the future. If he has a monster AAU summer season, he may get better offers.
