Anyone heard that Bradford might be hurt???
That’s why Robe threw Orynn the other night.
Have a great idea. All those questions everyone has can come to the Diamond Club meeting tomorrow for 11:30am at Russo park and ask the coach directly.
Who cares what he is “listed” as. He was signed here out of high school as a pitcher. That was obviously not the first time he’s got on the mound all year. In fact he had been dominate in intrasquads and looked very good from what I’ve been told. I can tell u this, if there is one coach in America that is overly cautious about running guys out on the mound because they are not “ready” it Tony.
This thread has deteriorated beyond belief.
I would not want to go into battle with a number of posters here. It is obvious that once a few bullets start flying, they are willing to abandon their posts and run for the hills!
Gunner has been out 2 years. I am exited about his return even if it is temporarily delayed.
Still, with the long known uncertainty of his return in any form, it seems to me UL should have had ample time to find another Friday night starter.
2 Friday night caliber starters should not be out of the question at this point in time.
Veillon,When your up by more than run preferably not in the 9th on the road. Franks, not in a tie game in the 9th bases loaded. I mean I get you want them tested in the fire, but we need to win games with guys who have proven something. I’m not saying the outcomes would have been any different. I think McKinnon would have been a better option to PH at tech in that situation. Any pitcher on the roster from last season would have been better to close Saturday. IMO
