THIS! This team doesn’t know how to close out a game and win. NOT YOUNG. This is an OLD team - all juniors and seniors except for the SS who started last year.

Pathetic. Not acceptable. I thought blowing 5-1 was bad. And then to follow-up with a blown 6-0.

By the way that shortstop was supposed to be the next best thing since sliced bread. But he won’t sit, but yet last weekend when the right fielder misplayed a ball he was pulled. Got to be fair all around

They will keep struggling until they successfully handle the pressure of late inning situations. Winning a game comfortably would be great for our nerves but that won’t help them get the confidence needed to really turn this around.

We are good every 4 years when we have a bunch of juniors who have been around for a while. And then they all get drafted in the 37th round and leave bc they don’t want to deal with Tony’s ____ with not being able to wear a hat on campus. Sitting in the first 2 rows in class. No team football tailgatates etc etc

Look at juniors drafted at big time programs. If they are not top 5 rounds they come back. Over here they are signing free agent contracts as juniors to leave. Hmmm wonder why
Even Austin signed in the 20th round in 2014

Legit two way players are just that like Coles, Jut, Seth Harrison. This was not that. There are real two way players. We dont have one.If we had Coles we might not be 1-5.
