A team playing like this all year has no chance of making a conference tourney.

If this team misses the postseason again this year, Tony’s job has got to be talked about. There is too much talent just in this area to not recruit good baseball players. And the facilities are too nice to have this kind put output. I think the game has passed Tony up.

I have heard his job talked about quite a bit over the last couple years and don't see that slowing down if this continues.

Put his name over the scoreboard. Retire his number and put it on the wall. No one is discounting what he's done with this program. But today, he is not putting a quality team on the field and that's his job.

Hate to say it (and don't compare the non-diamond sports aspect of this) but we thought ML was the end all be all for our softball program and we are seeing in a year and change that we were dead wrong on that. May be the same here. Truth may hurt, but something to think about. And if we think Deggs may be that guy, better scoop him up soon. If we wait til he's a hot commodity, we will not win that battle.

This really sucks, but some of ya’ll need to relax. We have a young inexperienced pitching staff and many undefined roles. These games are essentially our spring training in that we are trying to figure out what we have and put guys in different situations.

I have full confidence in this coaching staff. Doesn’t change the way we are playing as these are tough losses without a doubt, but it is still February.

That's what fall ball and other practices are for. All 56 games matter when you don't have a P5 patch on your sleeve.

This defense was hyped up all offseason and so far has been the worst I've seen since Jordan Poirrier tried to play second base.
