Just to place a little clarity on this, this standing (2nd) is based on total attendance, which is through 11 games, the most home games anyone has played thus far. It is ranked 8th on average attendance (1,121), behind Auburn, Arizona, South Florida, Texas A&M, LSU, Florida and (gasp) Troy.
I looked at the NCAA website and the latest attendance figures were from 2017 where we ranked 5th in average home attendance (1,994/game) behind Alabama, Arizona, Oregon, and Auburn. We were 8th in total attendance (43,878 in 22 games) behind Alabama (79,218 in 29 games), Arizona (68,588 in 30 games), Auburn (65,028 in 31 games), Tennessee (50,836 in 30 games), Oregon (50,471 in 24 games) LSU (47,820 in 27 games), and Florida (47,391 in 29 games).
