TECH HAS WON 5 OF THE LAST 7!!!

Hence, what is meant by "way out front" of the ball. Caleb was the biggest leg kicker I recall here. He was really good at it.

.....Why are the guys jumping on Trahan if he isn’t coaching the hitters and what happened to question the umps in the 10th...not at home so didn’t know!

Forgot about him. I think he missed a lot of games last year.

Beat them and we won't have to do any trash talking.

We don't have the players capable of doing that. We are a small ball team. The problem that i see is that kids these days don't have the proper fundamentals of how to even hold the bat to bunt, much less being able to execute it.

All turf field, so barring storms and or lightening, not out of the realm of possibility to get them all in...one way or another. Radar is favorable, as of now.

The players we have SHOULD be able to do it. Lott, Monica, Wiley, Lochridge, Windham, and Frank all have the potential to be gap to gap hitters. Not to mention Kasuls and Cantrelle. The approach just sucks. Hoping to see a pitch to hit instead of expecting to see a pitch to hit.

You are talking about two different things. The 2014 team mashed but could still execute the fundamentals of baseball. What’s so hard about being able to hit and still get a sac down when the game is on the line?

Strentz kick was probably a little bigger from my recollection but you can run down that 2014 lineup: Adams, Conrad, Strentz, Harrison, Shug, Butler, Trahan, Compton. They all were kickin. Probably helped that Deggs didn't care if you missed an off speed pitch by a mile. The entire goal was don't get beat by a fastball. So even with the leg kick if all you are looking for is FB, it is easier to time up even with high velo for good athletes.

Well, hitting is one of the hardest things to do in all of sports, BUT these first four games and all of last year makes it seem damn near impossible. Bunting is all about determination. If a player is determined to give himself up and focus on getting the bunt down, it will happen. However, I still think our approach at the plate needs to change.

We have hit a lot better, just not when it matters. Last 2 years we couldn’t do either
