IMO bunting and getting runs in from 3rd are as fundamental as playing defense. You can't blame defense and not offense when simple execution would have won at least 2 of the 3 games we lost.

While we are finding people and things to blame, I blame it on the referee who didn't call pass interference. Saints would be Super Bowl champs, UL would be 4-0, Monica would already have 30 home runs, and team would be batting .650

Stat of the year so far.

We've faced some really good pitching and are performing much better at the plate than this time last year.

Just like the football season, this is a big transition year with new players and coaches, and just like football, making the postseason would be more than I am expecting.

1 new coach and 5 returning starters. How is that a big transition year? Seems like it's just your normal turnover

Wow, we were a win away from the world series a few years ago and you have no expectation of postseason.

LSU-E is a D2 juco program. Although a top team in that catagory,, they don't play the Div 1's - the Florida jucos which are stronger,,i.e. Chipola, Miami Dade, etc.. or the east texas teams like San jacinoto, Angelina....

I absolutely HATE losing to Tech, and for some reason, we always seem to play like hell every time we play them.
and how did the basketball game go? this is getting irksome. it would be much more fun to talk about beating them at something than having to go the way of tarps or inbreeding.
