No doubt...the boys in blue were ready to call it a night.

Tech is some trash too. I wasn't impressed whatsoever about anything that game had to offer.

Impressed or not, Tech has had our number in baseball and football for a while now and it's high time we figure out how to remedy this situation. Anyone that thinks this matchup isn't a big deal to our fans or our players is kidding themselves. I absolutely HATE losing to Tech, and for some reason, we always seem to play like hell every time we play them.

It was an important RPI game early in the season. They know that and did what they thought they needed to do to win. Who cares if they are pitching their weekend rotation on a Wednesday? It seems crazy and sad, but hey, who won?

I’m trying to take Neck out of the equation and look at it from a numbers perspective. One of our goals is to win the conference, the tourney and make the NCAA. Great. But we dropped 3 games against good teams that could help you still get in if we stub our toe in conference play or the tourney. It seems like the last 2 seasons we’ve looked back on “man, if we’d only closed out this game or that game then we’d be an at large.” Those same type games are mounting up early.

Several opportunities this year, but don’t let these “well, its one game” mount up. Those one become many of you keep adding them up. Then you’re on the outside looking in saying “woulda, coulda, shoulda.”

I'm just as ____ed off as the next guy. But I can recognize that our hitters look somewhat different than we did last year. Eventually, we will start scoring in bulk. And everyone will shut up.

What y'all should be more mad about is our defense completely letting us down in at least 2 games so far. That ground ball under Breaux's glove for the inside the park job on Saturday, and Cantrelle's errant throws across the board, including his big error tonight to setup the loss.

Consistent double digit strikeouts, and large number of looking 3rd strike ones in crunch time, are unacceptable. We had bases loaded with one out. No runs. Runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs. No runs.

Extremely frustrating to watch. One thing is clear though, we are getting more hits than we were early in the year last year. We just haven't pushed them across into runs yet.

One thing I never thought I'd say is that defense is absolutely costing us some games. Cantrelle has flat out sucked to start the year. No other way to slice it. If players are reading this later tonight, don't get sad about it. Get ____ed off and prove some people wrong.

We have the talent to win now. We are 3 plays away from being 4-0. Instead, we're 1-3. It's time to wake the F up and stop letting mental mistakes define your season.

Deflecting on the defense is a smoke screen. Offense isn’t getting it done. More competitive at bats and getting their job done in situational hitting eliminates the impact of those plays.

I’m so happy we stopped with the aggressive swings and leg kicks. Remember that year we hit all those bombs and hosted a regional and super regional.....that really sucked. These last three years have been so much better.
