FORT POLK, La. - Fort Polk's Military Police Investigations Section, in cooperation with the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Department "Crime Stoppers," is offering a reward of up to $500 for information leading to the recovery of the person or persons who abandoned a newborn male infant at the South Fort Fire Station Dec. 6.

The newborn, two to 14 days old, was left behind the fire station at around 8 p.m. The baby was wrapped in a polyester quilt blanket with brown teddy bears, yellow stars and a background pattern of white and blue checks.
