They have scored in three innings. Only one with a crooked number. Competition has a lot to do with that however.

That’s how Glasco got it done last season after his power-hitting transferred.
Yes. But you’re down 2. You need baserunners and gave away one that had just been gifted via a walk. So we immediately make a guy swing at a pitch, regardless of location. Runner has to check the batter to make sure and not get doubled off, so probably dead meat if there’s no contact. Exactly what happened. And now the batter is behind in the count and in a hole.

The reward is a hit and 2 on at the corners. Normal case, it’s basically a sac bunt and you gave away an out to put a guy in scoring position, who even if he scores, you’re still behind. Or you miss it and the runner is toast.

Risk not worth the reward in that situation. It’s not smart baseball.

Does anyone know who’s starting on the mound today?

Attendance today will be short of the 5591 and 5517 we had for the first two games. Losing will do that. And it's a Sunday.

Those are tickets sold so it might be not that far off from those numbers today

Some people need a little frame of reference. This level of baseball is not what you see on the MLB Network. Not even close. It is good quality, entertaining baseball, but this is a game of failure at any level. The team that fails a little less usually wins. To point out failures in a game is easy. They always happen and always will.
