New PA guy

I just saw on social media Nick Domingue will not be doing this year at the Tigue after holding that position for 21 years. If I remember correct he was still in college when he started doing the announcing. Wonder what happen. Anyone knows who the new guy will be

Actually I think T.D. Smith was a PA guy for awhile back when I was in college...2003-2008?

I'm sure it won't happen, but it would be great to get T.D. back. He was the best.

I think he meant including as a fan he won’t be at opening day for first time in 21 years

For years, Nick was the guy who did the sound. It was Nick who first came up with many of the things (bor-ing) we still use today (whoa-we-oh). When he first started doing the sound, Hoss was the PA guy. When Hoss moved to Arizona TD took over. TD, as you may know, now lives in Florida (and does the PA for Stetson baseball.)

When TD left, Nick took over as the PA guy.

So he has been a part of this for 21 years (Nick either just turned 40 or is about to). Nick took a new job in Houston and actually thought he'd be able to continue on the weekends, but it didn't work out.

Couldn’t stand TD as PA. I thought he was too much of a minor league sports cheerleader type. Liked him on a personal level the few times I met him.
