These women know that they’ve got to get their hits in four innings at home. Not getting more chances.
We could be the visitors sometimes and get five innings to hit.

Michael Lotief liked that philosophy in tournament play. I never cared for that approach as you never know when you will have a tight game and would like the last at bat.

Agreed. We should always want to be the home team. It was disappointing that the score was 21-0 and almost all of the starters were still in the game. Why not let the subs play?

I'm no coach, but it's very early in the year and the starters need playing time first and foremost. Later in the season there'll be time to let the subs get some playing time.
