Regardless of what your current opinion is of the coaching staff and administration when it comes to the basketball program, this is an important time not to be like the school from down the road. Everyone needs to get out and support the student athletes. Whether you believe it or not they are still competing and have been putting in work for months and years to be able to play in front of us. We are the CAJUNS and we need to act like it tonight. We all have the same hate for Georgia State and we need to be there and be loud.

Fan shaming has never been the answer to motivate supporters to show up. And while I have no doubt the athletes and the staff are working hard to improve, the results have not been encouraging. If you want people to show up to games, then give them a reason to be excited. For all the fans that do show up tonight, thanks for sticking it out. For all the fans that decided not to attend because you have been greatly disappointed by what you have seen, I don't blame you either. Geaux Cajuns!

I don't blame a single person for not showing up tonight. Why would they? There is one word to describe the feeling around Cajuns basketball for the better part of 20 years and that word is APATHY. And it's damn well justified.

And btw, Marlin better _____ing win tonight. There are a group of highly involved, plssed off folks ready to pounce.. And MAT hasn't gone scorched earth in quite a while..

Regardless, probably could have made your argument without needing to inject “that team down the road”. If we want to become our own recognized brand apart from them, then our obsession with them probably needs to stop as well.

The outcomes of games at this point are irrelevant. This should be the priority list for Cajuns Basketball:

1) Hit the reset button from top to bottom with the staff
2) Go on a money raising BLITZ
3) Change scheduling practices completely
4) Blow up the social club
5) Beg anyone, ANYONE to let us in their conference

If I was still a student and my only expense was $8 beers then I would be there. I now pay for 4 and concessions are through the roof. $120 with no guarantee that the team will even compete on national TV, doesn't excite me. I wish them the best and will watch at home. Show me that they will compete every game and you get my money. I don't expect to win every game, but I expect to compete.
