My point is that, I am no way suggesting coach Marlin has the team where I expected them to be. I am not taking up for him in the lack of recruiting. But I won't abandon the student athletes that put in the time and effort because we are losing. I am a fan of the university regardless of the win/loss record. I have voiced my displeasure with those who have the power but won't willingly not show up to a sporting event because we are losing. I believe in other methods, but to each his own.

The other teams are surpassing us because they are bringing in thugs that can hoop. If we bring in those kinds of kids people would be complaining because we are a team full of thugs that don't know how to represent the University. No one will ever be satisfied.

Sorry, I didn't answer this question. Yes, some of those same people were not attending many games after the 2107 season. Go back and read the threads, even a few people that thought it was time for Coach Robichaux to retire.

But once again, Coach Robichaux has resume of 25 years plus at UL with success. Are you suggesting Bob Marlin's 9 year tenure is the work of a HOF resume at UL? That's what it sounds like your are suggesting. Why is it Marlin defenders don't want to see, or care to see the fact that Coach Robichaux has a HOF resume?
