What if hes the only plumber in town, should I let him close down and just use the one 45 mins down the road who charges 4 times as much?

I've seen your post and refuse to get in a ____ing match about it. If you can't answer the question yes or no, your relevance to eat being a stupid question is irrelevant. Because I donate significant amounts annually to RCAF yet only hold 4 tickets to basketball, you think it would hurt them more if I stopped paying my RCAF or if I stopped showing up to basketball games.

I don't know how to respond to this maybe some else knows better isn't baseball and softball considered 2 of the 4 major sports in college athletics? were either irrelevant in all or we a relevant in half.

As I've been saying, I am not happy with what we are putting on the court but by not showing up to the games only hurts the players and future recruiting, I'de rather sport my guys win or losing and cut $10,000 annually off my RCAF donations (which has been made know), then not support my guys when they are not doing so well.
This is the attitude that keeps us in purgatory. I'm not saying you're right or wrong, but I am saying the entire program and it's core group needs an _____ in order to progress the basketball program. From top to bottom, the staff knows they have a safety net with the social club core. And until that group is (and Savoie) truly gets uncomfortable, Marlin is an institution here.

It's time to rattle the cage. Although, we can't really get more irrelevant than we are right now... I don't think.

I defiantly agree with you on that.

People are getting upset over nothing. We still have a winning record and all our goals are still in front of us.

When you win 27 games in the previous year, teams are going to come after you. Plus, we play in the nicest gym.

This is another bad take in my opinion. Why is that a number of MBB fans go through such lengths to defend Coach Marlin that they even bring up other sports, or the names of other HC at this program? This past week someone asked similar questions concerning UL Baseball in defense of Coach Marlin, "Why isn't Coach Robichaux held to the same standard as some of you want to hold Bob Marlin after not making a regional in 3 years?" I answered by asking them a question, "Are you really comparing Bob Marlin's tenure to a Coach that will eventually be inducted into the UL , Louisiana and very possibly NCAA College Baseball Halls of Fame? It's become that rediculous in the manner in which some of you have gone after people that buy season tickets, are RCAF members and have had enough of what they've seen this season.

I understand Coach Marlin is a good guy, runs a clean program and graduate's his athletes, so do a number of other coaches. None of them, including Bob Marlin are ever more important than the UL Athletic Program! And for the record, I'm not in favor of firing Coach Marlin. I would like to see him straighten out his team this season and put together another squad to make a run at the league championship next season. His been given a contract extension to show UL's commitment to him, but that doesn't mean he get's a pass for his team's current lack of depth because holes in his recruiting classes and his poor performance against the bottom dwellers in this conference even with injuries.

The only reason I brought up Napier was because someone related attendance to being a reason for firing a coach. Napier just so happened to be the coach of the sport where attendance dropped 20% last year. In no way or am I suggesting that coach Napier be fired, I'm just saying there are other ways to show your disappoint in a coach. After coaches speech Wednesday at the private showing and getting to talk to the coaches I defiantly think that program is headed in the right direction. I never once defined Marlin only the players who are currently playing for him.

Some people are forgetting that 2 of our starters have not played a single game in conference, I do believe that if both Koby and Marquetti we are not having this discussion today. But that doesn't deny the fact that we have no depth on this team. Do you think if Simmons and Mitchell for Georgia state or even if ULM loses Smith those teams would be competing for first place?

    (Stands up and Applauds)

For anyone to compare Marlin to Robe is laughable. When Coach Marlin can bring us to a #1 national ranking and 4 NCAA postseason appearances in 9 years, then they can talk. Other than that, it’s a ridiculous attempt to even try to compare.

I rather pay 4x the amount and not have turds floating around in my bathroom.

But out of the 12 plumbers in town Big game is charging the most and still not doing the best work but he is a good friend so it's cool

Koby has been hurt since high school they staff knew he was never going to play this year and the other averaged 8 points a game last year that is a bull____ excuse

I’m sorry, but there’s no way that anyone can convince me that a true freshman and Marquetti would’ve suddenly turned around 3 straight conference losses. Maybe they wouldn’t have been 20 point losses, but two players like that don’t make some massive difference.
