Amazing how a thread about Hud turned into a thread on the origins of milk/coffee and cultural differences. Love it!!
Grew up in Norco and for my mom it was milk coffee. I guess you could use milk coffee when you're small and there is more milk than coffee, and change it to coffee milk as you get older and have more coffee than milk. Cafe Aulet, while i really like it, was not what I had at home.
Underappreciated comment of the year.
Coffee milk for me too in Crowley. Now I do love a good coffee stout and Parish brews the best. Not a fan of the barrel-aged however.
Such a shame my parents were punished for speaking French at school and now we have to scramble to preserve the language here. Unfortunately I do know a few people who consider a bilingual education to be somehow un-American, so maybe the pendulum is swinging back.
