    Default Anthony Babineaux's "Cajun Corner"

yes it be that time again and excited be me hard to believe this is year 15 or 16 that we have been blessed to sit with a Cajun assistant and talk baseball with Cajun baseball fans from Wade Simoneaux, John Szefc to my favorite Anthony "Toot Toot" (Bab) Babineaux.

Whereas: i trust most know, i have at times, needed and for sure, enjoyed always coming to the ragin pagin and ask for help by you all writing in your questions and concerns.

Therefore: lets play ragio (grins) and the cajuns play "winner mean in 2019"

    11-12p on ESPN1420 call in # (337) 269-1077

Ask him about Dalton Horton (TCU transfer)
We heard he hasn’t got his velocity back from his injury.

He had surgery in the fall and is working his way back.

What is his new role on the staff? What are his limitations if any

Funny during one of the breaks (39 minute mark) you could hear Babs talking to Billy off the air about not mentioning this but only 32 of the 35 spots are locked, but they have 8 guys fighting for the last 3 spots.

A couple of those that I would assume would be (Jam Williams and Marco Ramos). He mentioned that the 5 guys that did not make the team would not be able to go anywhere because it would be too late but they all agreed to stay and fight it out, some of them probably did not have that many other options (Seniors, like Ramos and Williams).

He mentioned that these positions are locks right now>

    SS Cantrelle
    2B Kasuls

    SP Friday Leger
    SP Saturday Young
    SP Sunday TBD

    3B Windham or Lockridge
1B Lott or Spears or Frank or Lahare
C Monica or McKinnon or Toro
    OF Bourgeois
OF Lahare or Breaux or Veillon or Wiley

DH could be Lott/one of the OF Lockridge or Windham

Bil will have to learn to work that microphone buttons a little better.

Ramos was already cut. Most of those fighting for spots are pitchers.

That's because he probably records it with his phone. When you listened to the actual live feed, it went to commercial and audio was better during interview

Lahare is probably playing first.that’s pretty certain. The outfield has 5 excellent players for 3 spots.
    Veillon,Hannie,Breaux,Wiley and Bougeois.

If Danny is at 1st and Monica is catching that means Lott will probably DH
Bougeois in LF, Breaux in CF, Wiley in RF
    Just my guess
