Well I’ll say this....everyone says we haven’t recruited well enough. I’ll agree with that to some degree. In the past 4 years we have had a development issue as well. But 40 games into this season we have seen the work Wells has done for us offensively. I’d say it looks like we are starting to get over the hump offensively. We are able to compete at this point. Pitching has never really been the issue with our clubs. However, this year it is. So hopefully we can get better in recruiting, developing, and winning soon

I see a lot of hand wringing/complaining on this board in reference to the "state" of various sports and even the entire athletic department.

The current state of this board is Abysmal.

Some of the bad vibes are understandable. A lot of it is completely unnecessary and counterproductive.

After the final outs are recorded for Softball and Baseball, I highly recommend all of us take the Summer off from posting. Regroup. Recharge, and let's meet back in August with some new attitudes and renewed focus on what matters.
