That is a very good comp. The difference in talent level is staggering to us simple fans. Imagine the difference through the eyes of the coaches that saw both batches of players.

Well I’ll say this....everyone says we haven’t recruited well enough. I’ll agree with that to some degree. In the past 4 years we have had a development issue as well. But 40 games into this season we have seen the work Wells has done for us offensively. I’d say it looks like we are starting to get over the hump offensively. We are able to compete at this point. Pitching has never really been the issue with our clubs. However, this year it is. So hopefully we can get better in recruiting, developing, and winning soon
