Then he doesn't earn a football scholarship. PWO means the staff is promising an athlete at a certain position an opportunity to earn a scholarship while saving them a spot on the 110 that are allowed to practice. Anyone can tryout, but they are not guaranteed a roster spot.

T with all the PWOs and the fact that we have Lewis, 2 incoming ju co, 2 in coming Frreshman, 2 walk on QBs and that’s not counting arceneaux. How do you see that position playing out when it comes to the 110 limit for practice?

Some of it will be played out in the spring. Jaiave Magalei will not be cleared for contact until fall from my understanding. That leaves Lewis, Gibson, McDowell, Beau Kalbacher and Arcenaux to fight it out for reps. I don't see all of them staying when they break camp at the end of August.

Well, That's competition! Makes for a better team, if done properly. And I expect with this staff, it will be.
