A program of ours that competes for National Championships and consistent postseason appearances. It’s a program that schedules P5 powerhouses for home games and knows how to beat them. It’s a program that has coaches and fans who actually approach their shortcomings by taking action without sugarcoating them. It’s a program that knows how to win in spite of bumps in the road. A program of no excuses.

Its called having a coach thats not lazy and pounds the turf to raise money, Its about a coach who don't live on excuses. To mention ROBE or Big floppy fish in same sentence seems like a sin.

With our team, I’d rather be in a position to hit more. Robe always finds a way to manage a pitching staff regardless of their weaknesses. If he can do the same this season, we will be playing in June.

Still trying to evaluate whether offense is that much better or pitching is that much worse. I'm sure it is some of both but concerned that it could be a little more of the latter.

However, if it is not the latter, we should be pretty good.

anyone on the hitting end surprising ya ?

I can remember last year at this time wondering generally how we were going to score runs. That panned out as such for most of the season.

They generally hitting the ball well (hard) across the board this year from what I have seen. It we be a battle of bats for the outfield positions. Monica, Casuls, Vellion, Wiley, Breaux, Bourgious, Hannie, Lahare . . . (There were some others but they are not wearing numbers so it’s hard to track). all got good hits yesterday, a couple of them had multiple hit days. A few others, Lockridge, Hannie . . . hit the ball hard. Not sure what this says for our pitchers. Looks like third will be a hot corner and LF will be doing lots of running this year.
