Mansura Mayor Kenneth Pickett and a group of residents from Avoyelles Parish were welcomed to Ville Platte by the Evangeline Parish Tourism Commission and Mayor Bill Jeanmard Wednesday, February 24. Along with Mayor Pickett, Wilbert Carmouche, director of tourism for Avoyelles Parish, also made the trip.
