Can't make this one...
BTW, weather tonight in Boone..8 degrees with a 20 mph wind...tomorrow not as bad, mid 40s daytime, mid 20s overnight with a calm wind...Jay and Ross may be spooning tonight to stay warm...
I have heard the team completed their trip safely.
I just noticed that we are a pickem with App State tonight. I get that it is in Boone, but how possibly can a team that is 13-7 vs a team that is 5-14 in the same conference be a pickem game. I can believe that we are 4-5 point favorites even with the home court advantage.
This is the first Cajun vs App game in 5 years in Boone that I am going to miss
Seriously, App has 6 wins, three of them are vs Mars Hill, Winston Salem State and Milligan, all of which are Non D-1 teams. There other wins are vs Howard (MEAC), NC Central (MEAC) and Little Rock, a team we beat by 14, they won by 4.
There 6 wins are vs worse teams than most of our 13. Again, I ask how can this be a pickem game.
They don't have a win over a team with a sub 300 RPI.
342 Howard
312 LR
322 NC Central
N/A Mars Hill
N/A Winston Salem State
N/A Milligan
They have played a much better schedule, with losses out of conference vs:
Alabama
Purdue
Witchita State
Ball State
ECU (Bad Loss) RPI 260
South Florida
Georgetown
St Louis
Conference Losses vs:
South Alabama (Bad Loss) RPI 307
Troy
UTA
Texas State
Coastal
Arkansas State
Good start for the Cajuns
Down 15-0 to start
Down 15-0 early and and the CAJUNS look pitiful. Let's go boys
wtf! 17-0 before we finally score
Spotting 17 is less than spotty play.
