I wish David Stern was still the commish. He would butch slap Klutch and the Lakers.

If the Pelicans can get a better deal from the Celtics, they should do so. Not only would the deal probably be better, but AD would be in the East rather than the West, thus not having to face him as many times during the season.

Adam Silver should veto any trade to the Lakers due to tampering but he is a Bish ..... Pels need to do the right thing and send AD to Boston

    100% agree!

LeBron can interfere, he did it to put Miami together. Granted there’s not an arms length between him and management. Is this Lakers tampering? If so Silver indeed should block Lakers.

So much for only wanting to go to large media markets. Like I said earlier Express, large markets can be defined by multiple criteria, not just your media exposure. AD is now saying that amongst the teams he's willing to go to, the Milwaukee Bucks are one of them. They have a youthful, good team centered around Giannis the Greek Freak.

As long as a possiblity of two or more teams his value grows exponentially. I’ve always felt that had the Pelicans ever put together a decent supporting cast he might have stayed. They never did. Last year was close but in the end they lost the most valuable of that support.

Funny how the additional options appear to also be small market with less to provide in exchange.

Or larger market teams with less to provide like the Clippers.

Pelicans trade Nico to the Bucks. In return, Pelicans get Jason Smith, Stanley Johnson, Denver’s 2019 2nd round pick, Bucks 2020 2nd round pick, and Wizards 2020 & 2021 2nd round picks. That’s 4 picks for Nico! Add that to getting Morris and a 2nd round pick for Wesley Johnson yesterday. Pels are looking like winners at the trade deadline.

Also being reported that the Pelicans like Lonzo Ball as a player and think he would be a good pair with Jrue, but they want no part of his family around the team. Once again, Lavar blowing it for his kids.

I don't get caught up in numbers, 2nd Round picks amount to very little in return. This is simply a salary  , adding more cap space with Smith's and Morris's contracts. Demps needs to go period and before the summer! You don't allow this guy to make the AD trade.

As for Ball, he can't find the side of a barn with his jump shot. He is nowhere near the talent that Tatum is today or will be in the future. In addition, his father is a huge clown show and distraction for any franchise that he plays with.

If Ball is part of the AD package this summer, I hope there is another team involved. His a poor man's Jason Kidd without the HOF skills.
