Thread: AD wants out in NOLA

Yeah I’m recalling our Chris Paul trade and that ended with the Pelicans getting a reluctant player. That never worked. Mrs Benson should forget her resentment and, anger and get the best deal she can. That’s now, not next year. All the other small market owners can at a girl all they want but her team is the one who is left holding the bag.

Wait for the lottery. LA is willing to give up those players for reason, and it's not because they are future all stars.

Didn’t say that the Pelicans were ever going to get his true worth. If I win the lottery I’m not giving it to the Pelicans on the hope AD will actually sign with my bad team.

Ball is already saying he wants the Lakers to get either Chicago or New York involved so he goes to one of those instead of New Orleans. Pelicans will wait it out until the Celtics can get involved so they get the best possible deal.

How do you know its now? By doing it now, you are taking Boston out of the running since they cannot make any moves until July when Kyrie's contract runs out.

We will not have a very good chance at the #1 pick this year as at least 4 teams will have an equal shot but everyone else outside the bottom four will be lower percentage chances.

NBC Sports Chicago reporter it but now the Phoenix media is saying there’s mutual interest between Ball and the Suns

Agreed! Davis is on contract for another season, they should wait until the summer when the Celtics can get involved and maximize their efforts. There is no need to rush to get a trade done by the deadline next week. In fact, after the way Davis and his agent have handled this I damn sure wouldn't do it right now, especially to the Lakers.

Yes. The Celtics are assuring them that they will get better value from the Celtics than anyone else if we wait and that's what we should do. That's the Celtics issue if he does make true on his word and bolt after a year to L.A. If Tatum, Rozier, Brown and handful of picks are what we get, I'm singing Happy Trails to AD.

Well, the first "offer" came in this morning. What a slap in the face. The Pels should just end communication with the Lakers until the end of the season.
