The play four games and still redshirt will also allow coaches to evaluate younger players earlier on and identify who they may have missed on and can address it sooner.

Y'all are getting a great kid who will work hard to prove himself and earn a scholarship. He is a very dedicated student athlete and loves the Louisiana spirit and cagin way.

what an impressive class. on paper yes, but the excitement, and potential school loyalty this class provides Louisiana within the state is just as impressive.

I remember the day Fields verbally committed and we were excited to get a top 50 player in the state. We have now signed FIVE players more highly rated than him in the state. Truly could be a program-changing class.

Great to hear hard working walkons are the backbone of great teams.

On a side note Napier has shown last year he will award players that give 110%

Our biggest problem was we lacked speed everywhere this class adress that in a big way

I don't get caught up in stars and ratings it's good bragging rights about it I look players skill level on the field and their measurables. This class far and away blows out anything I've seen in the last 10 years when it comes technique at the OL/DL position.

Yep. Hard not to get too exicted about it. Especially if you consider how well we did this past year with the obstacles we had. Now with the new signings, we are on our way. Finally.
Guess it all started with T'Joe, who got rid of SF and hired Maggard, who hired Napier (Glasco, etc.).

I do know this, the Tight End position just got a lot better in 2019 and that is before we signed another TE.

Peyton Aucoin comes back healthier than last year and should provide an option. Remember this kid was originally signed by Texas was the #48 TE nationally and a 3 Star out of HS that had offers from Texas, Arizona State, Arkansas State, Florida, UL, La Tech, ULM, Memphis, Michigan, NC State, Mizzou, Nicholls, Northwestern, Ohio, Ole Miss, USM, Troy, Tulane, Vandy, WFU and WKU.

Chase Rogers, who only played in 4 games last year should come back fully healthy and ready to ball. Chase held offers from Tennessee, UL, Arkansas State, Cal, Colorado State, Memphis, Miss St, Ole Miss, USA, Troy, Tulane, UAB, UTSA and WFU.

Alex Allen got hurt in the first game of the year, coaching staff was really high on him, he was a walk on that earned a scholarship. Hopefully he is back and can add some serious depth this year. Remember he was basically the #2 option in game 1 before his injury.

Johnny Lumpkin a big blocking TE held offers from us and Miami of OH. He is a big body and still had 6 catches last year at the TE position and that was because he was the only option besides Matt Barnes for most of the year.

Few other names that I know nothing about on the roster are, Freshman Pearse Migl, Junior Chris Turner, RS Freshman Hunter Bergeron and now the newest addition of Neal Johnson who had FBS offers from Georgia State, ULM, New Mexico, Tulane, WKU, Wyoming and interest from Indiana and Minnesota. He was ranked as a 3 Star and was the #81 TE in the country this year and the #272 ranked player in Texas. He was a QB in HS, so I am sure he will make a pretty good TE, potential RS possibility as we are deep at this position and he probably needs some time to learn a new position.

We do lose Matt Barnes, who was the only real option we had most of the year. But I think the players we get back should be much stronger at that position.
